AMBEO Soundbar remise à neuf

Der Sound ist Phänomenal! Der Bass unglaublich aber die soundbar hat so ihre Macken. Störgeräusche beim senderwechsel und beim filmstart kommt der Ton leider erst ein paar Sekunden später. Ist zwar nicht asynchron aber störend bei dieser Preisklasse

Die Absolut beste Soundbar auf dem Markt!! Wenn noch Rears raus kommen sollten, wäre das die Kirsche auf der Torte.

Hallo, hatte das Gerät eigentlich nur mal zum Vergleich mit meiner alten Konfiguration (hochwertige 2.1 LSP) bestellt. Jetzt bleibt Ambeo bei mir. Eine Erweiterungsmöglichkeit auf zwei Rücklautsprecher wäre noch wünschenswert. Liebe Sennheiser-Entwickler: vielleicht geht da ja noch was...?

It's been a while I wanted to update my good old Yamaha YSP-4100 sound projector, for better connectivity and to have access to the latest audio formats. I have both a 4K TV and a videoprojector, with different devices connected either on a HDMI matrix or directly to the tv, and I need everything to output their audio to the soundbar in the best quality. What's more I needed CEC to work correctly, which was a headache with my previous setup.
Well with the Ambeo everything is working like a charm, I'm so glad. My only regret is that the Max is not Alexa compatible (as opposed to the Ambeo plus), you know, for automation, and I can't copy the commands to my IR blaster (yet). It's a good thing that you can link an audio preset to an output, that way I can leave the News preset by default on the tv (for my wife), and the Cinema mode on the Fire TV Cube that outputs to the projector. A pity that the subwoofer toggle is not part of the presets though, you have to set it on or off separately in the app. One thing to note is that if you switch the sub on in the app but don't actually power it, you'll get less bass coming out of the Ambeo, as it delegates them to the sub.
A for the sound, what a generational leap from the YSP ! The soundstage is so much wider and more precise ! Now I have a bunch of movies I want to re watch ! Even with my couch against the wall, and an uneven configuration on the sides, I can appreciate the effects (not so much the back channels obviously). The ambiant sounds are actually around in the room while the dialogs are well positioned and can be heard clearly. A pure joy.
Like someone said, I couldn't tell that the equipment is refurbished, everything in the box looked brand new, down to the wrappings and cable ties. I'd say it's an excellent bargain.

I come from a diy Canton/denon 5.1 hometheater which really was good. But I moved and the new flats living room is way smaller so I needed to cut down.
Got the Ambeo-Max as B-Ware, but I think it was not. It is marvellous, neet and clean, no scratch, smelled nice, just perfect. Im sure it hasnt been ever in use before.
The Soundbar is gigantic, so make sure you do your homework and measure your room.
The Setup was a bit fickly, had to try for 20minutes till it ran. But after that it does the work like a charm! (Make sure your devices are in the same network).
The Soundstage is at low volumes not that much better than my 65“ LG Oleds. There were times, when I even didnt realize the bar had shut down (due to energy saving) and I was listening through the TV Speakers.

But…. If you turn the Volume just up a notch above „quiet livingroom volume“ the Monster unfolds. The Stage becomes soo wide, the Treble is nice, the bass is Jurassic-Park‘eske. Subwoofer for 98% of listeners not needed. Cineasts with a own House or Basememt maybe, who prefer a simple solution. So cinema but not tech-enthusiats. If that makes any sense. Atmos is noticeable and for the money good. I think your room Setup is the most important thing here. My couch has to be directly to the wall, so the quality has to suffer, alot actually.
Id rate it 9,5/10, just because its hefty. But a big chunk of awesomeness.
