Way softer than the after market pads I tried before. Just the same pads that came with the headphones originally, keeping comfort and sound.

Good quality
The original earpads on my HD 599 were 3 years old and getting a bit worn, it is great that replacements for these are available. I am really happy with them.

I was a little confused by a piece that fell out of my old, worn earpads and whether or not it was part of the headphones or part of the earpads. Turns out it was part of the earpad. Snapping that piece off the headphones felt like I was going to rip out my fingernails! I blame myself.
