Perfect delivery and perfect object

Good sound

The sound is great. The build is average. Wish I'd known of the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO before I bought these. What I really want is the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO with the HD 599 sound quality and a detachable coiled cable. Also the HD 599 because of the open back, I wouldn't recommend using these in the library or the office. Quite a lot of sound escapes. Also I don't like the chrome on these, would prefer a matte finish.

Comfortable headphone.

The sennheiser hd 599 SE are very comfortable even for extended periods of time. The detachable cable is a nice feature. Nice velour pads.
The sound is slightly warm without getting muddy/boomy. The sound quality lacks the "resolution/fluidity" compared to high-end headphones and the sound reproduction is abit coarse/grainy. This is heard as a lack of musicality.
Casual consumers will probably love them, hifi-enthusiasts should look elsewhere.

Abousoutley fantastic!

The best headphone I've ever put on my head. It's comfortable, it looks good and most importantly it sounds awsome. And the fact that I could buy this headphone for this cheap of a price is just unbelievable!
